About the Laboratory
Founded on a coastline. Engineered on a bench.
Prima Labo was established in Tunis in 2022 by a small team of chemists, pharmacists, and farmers who shared a single conviction: that the Mediterranean basin still holds the most rigorous, untapped pharmacopeia in the world — and that turning it into something useful requires both an olive grove and a gas chromatograph.

Mission
Make ancestral botany measurable.
We do not romanticise tradition. We document it. Every plant we work with is tested for active fraction, every batch is traceable to a parcel, every claim we publish is one we have observed in our own cohort.
Method
Homemade, with laboratory discipline.
Our formulations are produced in small batches at our Tunis laboratory. Artisanal scale, never artisanal standards. Cold-press extraction, GC-MS verification, lot-level archival of every production run for ten years.

Provenance
A pharmacopeia rooted in three cooperatives.
Cap Bon for olive, Sfax for sesame, Kairouan for clove and black seed. We visit every parcel each season and refuse any harvest that doesn't meet our polyphenol baseline.
The Bench
Gas chromatography on every lot.
Each production run is profiled for fatty acid composition, polyphenol density, and solvent residue. Results are signed by the scientific board and archived for ten years.

Standards we hold
ISO 22716
Cosmetic GMP
ECOCERT
Organic chain

Scientific Board
"We sign every formulation, because we are willing to defend every formulation."
